2022 Colors of Success DEI Organizational Award

The 2022 Colors of Success DEI Organizational Award is presented to an organization that has demonstrated outstanding achievement in developing practices and policies that foster diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in the workplace. This award is our highest recognition for organizational achievement related to DEI and is awarded annually.

The application must have a min of 300 words under each criteria with tangible results. Recommendation letters, with attachments and examples on DEI programs, policies, initiatives implemented in the workplace, or the community, will be an added bonus when rating the organizational nominee/applicant.

Nomination Deadline: Friday July 22, 2022

Organizations can be nominated or self-nominate.

Who can nominate?
If you are an employee, partner, vendor, or customer of an organization in the greater Rochester area that you are proud to tell the world about their exemplary diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, or culture, take the step and nominate them. Nominations recognizing organizations from diverse industries are encouraged. You may self-nominate too.


Evaluation Procedures:
The award will be judged by a panel of business leaders in the community with diversity, equity, and inclusion expertise who will individually review and rate the applications. The 2022 Colors of Success DEI Organizational Award finalists will be revealed shortly after the application deadline date – Friday, July 22, 2022

2022 Colors of Success DEI Organizational Award Winner Announced: 
The 2022 Annual Colors of Success Award DEI Organizational Award winner will only be announced at the awards ceremony on Friday, September 16, 2022.

Supporting documents and recommendation letters are encouraged to assist with judging an applicant. You may submit up to four files only.

1. How has the organization demonstrated sustained support towards advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in the workplace?

2. How has the organization provided direct contribution to DEI related programs, policies, or initiatives that positively impact the status of a community issue/initiative?

3. Provide examples of how the organization and its employees have coached and/or mentored others in the workplace, or in the community, as it relates to your DEI journey.
