Celebrate 40 Years of ATHENA Excellence in Rochester NY!

On Thursday, February 5, 2026, join us at the Rochester Riverside Convention Center for the 40th Annual ATHENA International Awards celebration, held as part of Greater Rochester Chamber's Women's Council initiative!

Founded in 1982 in Lansing, Michigan, the ATHENA International Awards program honors exceptional women leaders and inspires others to pursue excellence. Over 7,000 leaders from 500+ communities worldwide, including the U.S., Canada, and the UK, have received this prestigious award.

This 40th anniversary celebrates resilience, empowerment, and the commitment to uplifting women in leadership roles. We will recognize the 2026 ATHENA Award recipients in three categories:

  • ATHENA Leadership Award
  • ATHENA Young Professional Award
  • ATHENA Organizational Award

Join us in honoring these trailblazers and reflecting on 40 years of ATHENA excellence! The evening will begin with a reception and conclude with a sit-down formal awards ceremony.

Suggested Attire in Honor of Our 40th Anniversary: Since 40 years is traditionally celebrated with a ruby red color scheme, please consider wearing ruby red (or a red hue) or incorporating it into your attire to celebrate this occasion! It will make for a fantastic photo op!
