Human Resources Management Training - January 2026

*Virtual Training* 

Note: we are offering 3 separate HR Management series options throughout 2026 (January/February, April/May, & September/October). The January/February session will be virtual, and the April/May and September/October series will be held in person at the chamber offices (free parking!). 

Course Objective: A comprehensive, hands-on series of HR-related classes designed to refresh knowledge for people already in the HR profession or provide a comprehensive overview of HR policies and practices for newer HR professionals, as well as those in other positions that have been assigned HR responsibilities. Some sessions will also be helpful to supervisors looking to expand their knowledge of HR practices. In class exercises and discussion help reinforce the learning. Registrants may register for one or more module(s) of interest (8 half-day modules available). Due to low registration for the full series, we will not be offering the option to register for the 'full series' option this time around.

Dates: (morning session runs 8:00am-12pm; afternoon session runs 12:30pm-4:30pm)

  • Tuesday, January 20 - Employee & Labor Mgmt Relations AM; Benefits Administration PM
  • Tuesday, February 3 - Compensation Plan Design AM; Listening & Feedback Essentials PM
  • Tuesday, February 17 - Effective Meetings & Goal Setting AM; Legal Update PM

* Lunch provided at no additional cost for those who register for both the AM and PM session the same day! 

Registrants will receive the Zoom meeting link directly from the trainer 24 hours before the start of the training.

No cancellations or refunds will be accepted within 8 business days of the start of the session you are registering for. If you are no longer able to attend the training, we can transfer your registration to a colleague, or a credit may be offered to move your registration to a future training session, if one is on the schedule later in the year.
