Greater Rochester Chamber is pleased to present its 2nd Greater Rochester Chamber MWBE Awards, in partnership with Insero Advisors, LLC. Our unwavering belief in extending avenues of economic progress to all employers, regardless of their background, is a key part of our mission. 

The Greater Rochester Chamber MWBE Awards serves as a tribute to the accomplishments of minority- and women-owned businesses (MWBEs). It celebrates the outstanding achievements of the region's fastest-growing MWBEs, recognizing their ongoing success through growth rankings that consider both the percentage increase and the actual dollar amount of revenue growth.

Join us for the awards celebration on Wednesday, June 18th, at the Rochester Riverside Convention Center. A pre-ceremony reception and vendor showcase begins at 3:30 p.m. followed by the awards celebration at 5:00 p.m. Help us honor and recognize the fastest-growing local MWBE companies that strengthen the vitality of our region.

The Greater Rochester Chamber MWBE Awards celebration will be a party. So, bring your team and enjoy the evening with an amazing sense of camaraderie that will fill the ballroom. We want to hear our MWBE companies bring the noisemakers, confetti, boas, or whatever suits their team to help cheer on the many accomplishments, loud and proud!

In addition to the Greater Rochester Chamber MWBE Awards celebration, Greater Rochester Chamber, in partnership with Monroe County, COMIDA, and MCIDC, also invites you to join us for a special recognition ceremony to support and celebrate the 2024 locally certified MWBEs. The MWBE program was established in January 2021 as a recommendation from the Commission on Racial and Structural Equity (RASE) report in an effort to support diverse and equitable business in our region. Monroe County is committed to providing opportunities for underutilized businesses to grow, build capacity, and create generational wealth. Since its inception in January 2021, Monroe County has certified over 500 MWBEs. 

IMPORTANT: If you are part of the 2024 MWBE certification presented by Monroe County, COMIDA, and MCIDC, and you are not included in the Greater Rochester Chamber MWBE Awards recognition program, please register directly by contacting Events Specialist, Cassidy Pendell via email at Cassidy.Pendell@GreaterRochesterChamber.com

  • 3:30 - 4:30 PM - General Reception and Vendor Showcase. 
  • 5:00 - 6:30 PM - MWBE Certification Recognition Ceremony followed by Greater Rochester Chamber MWBE Awards Presentation
