Uplifting Financial Wellness in Our Community

Description
Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Rochester is organizing a free virtual training on October 13th, 2022, to help organizations (employers, community agencies, financial institutions, local government, etc.) incorporate and/or offer Financial Wellness programs within their organization. The training will cover specific strategies along with testimonials from representatives of organizations who have leveraged these strategies successfully. We have scheduled speakers for the National Foundation for Credit Counseling, Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and the Credit Builder Alliance. We will also have a panelist of local organizations discuss how they implemented financial education into their programs. The strategies that they will be focusing on are:
- Offering financial education materials
- Hosting financial education workshops/presentations
- Connecting individuals to financial counseling
