SUMMARY:Save The Frogs Day!
DESCRIPTION:Save The Frogs Day (STFD) returns annually on April 28th. A Frog House STFD brings together education\, habitat restoration\, and community. It is one of our favorite days of the year. We often celebrate it on the Sunday closest to the 28th.On April 26th\, 2026\, we will be hosting an event to celebrate STFD both at A Frog House at 65 State Street and at the Robert C. Corby (Village) Arboretum and Wildlife Sanctuary. The event will include an Eagle Scout presentation/demonstration of our new project (BYVP) some engaging/ educational activities\, refreshments and a tour/scavenger hunt in the Village Arboretum and Wildlife Sanctuary.Additionally\, Village of Pittsford Mayor Alysa Plummer\, members of the Village Board\, and Friends of the Arboretum have agreed to participate in an official ribbon-cutting ceremony for all of the improvements to the Arboretum made over the past four and a half years.The event will start at A Frog House\, and continue at the Arboretum\, which is a 15-minute walk along the canal path\, or a few minutes driving.
