2027 ATHENA Organizational Award Application

The ATHENA Organizational Award®

The ATHENA Organizational Award®, introduced to the Greater Rochester community in 2018, recognizes a woman-owned or woman-led organization with a minimum of two full-time employees that supports women’s leadership and gives back to the broader community.

Criteria:

  • Demonstrates organizational excellence, creativity, and initiative in its operations, products, services, programs, or business practices.
  • Creates an organizational culture that encourages women employees to achieve their full leadership potential through advancement, mentorship, professional development, inclusive policies, or leadership opportunities.
  • Contributes to Greater Rochester’s vitality through community service including community engagement, volunteerism, charitable giving, partnerships, philanthropic initiatives, or other efforts that support the community. Community service should reflect contributions beyond the organization’s core business operations, services, or day-to-day responsibilities.
