The ATHENA Young Professional Award®

The ATHENA Young Professional Award®, introduced to the Greater Rochester community in 2015, recognizes emerging women leaders, typically in the 30 to 45 age range, who demonstrate professional excellence, community commitment, and serve as role models for women and girls.

Criteria:

  • Demonstrates excellence, creativity, and initiative in her business, profession, or field of work.
  • Serves as a positive role model for other young women and girls, both personally and professionally.
  • Provides valuable service to the community and contributes to improving the quality of life for others. Community service should reflect contributions made outside of the nominee’s regular job responsibilities or day-to-day professional role.
