There is often confusion when it comes to responding to requests for religious accommodation in the workplace. Employers may be unsure as to what constitutes a reasonable accommodation and whether it rises to the level of undue hardship. Join us as Julia Day, Rochester Director from the NYS Division of Human Rights, discusses the legal rights and obligations for employers to provide religious accommodations for employees under New York State law. The session will include an overview of the New York Human Rights Law and the rights and protections afforded to employees and employers under the law. A Q&A period will conclude the session.
