Greater Rochester Chamber and its Small Business Council affiliate will present their Annual Business Person of the Year Awards. This event has evolved into one of the premier networking and business recognition events in the Greater Rochester region. The Business Person of the Year award finalists and award winners will be recognized on Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at the Hyatt Regency Rochester.
The program recognizes small business leaders who have demonstrated success in both civic and professional areas, specifically in the areas of growth, leadership, achievement, and community service. Candidates are nominated by their peers and an independent committee reviews applications and selects finalists in two categories:
- (i) Businesses with 50 employees or more
- (ii) Businesses with fewer than 50 employees
One winner is chosen annually to receive the Award in each category. The Business Person of the Year awards program celebrates the ultimate recipients in each of their categories.

- 3:45 - 4:45 pm - General Reception (heavy hors d'oeuvres and 1 hour of open bar will be available) and Business Showcase
- 5:00 - 6:30 pm - Business Person of the Year Awards Celebration in the Grand Ballroom
