Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce is proud to host the 40th annual ATHENA International Awards in Rochester, NY on Thursday, February 5 at the Rochester Riverside Convention Center.
Since 1987, Greater Rochester Chamber, as a part of its Women's Council initiative has honored and empowered outstanding female leaders in business through the ATHENA Awards program. These prestigious awards recognize professional women who have achieved excellence in their careers, made meaningful contributions to their communities, and dedicated themselves to advancing women professionally.
Founded in 1982 in Lansing, Michigan, the ATHENA Awards program celebrates exceptional women leaders while inspiring others to pursue excellence in their professional and personal lives. Over the years, more than 7,000 influential leaders across 500+ communities worldwide, including the United States, Bermuda, Canada, China, Greece, India, Russia, the UAE, and the UK, have received this coveted honor.
Join us as we celebrate and honor the 2026 ATHENA International - Rochester, NY Recipients across three categories:
- ATHENA International Award
- ATHENA International Young Professional Award
- ATHENA International Organizational Award
Program Schedule:
3:00 – 4:15 PM: General Reception featuring hors d'oeuvres and cashless bar service
4:30 – 6:00 PM: Formal sit-down awards ceremony

A portion of the ticket sales help support the Young Women of Distinction Scholarship program given annually to young women in their senior year in high school.
