Chamber Member SPOTlight tours take you to Greater Rochester/Finger Lakes' hottest businesses on their own turf. In their own words, business leaders will share their success stories – right where the action happens. These behind-the-scenes tours are a perfect way to gain perspective on the industry segments powering our region's economy.

Join us for our Chamber Member SPOTlight tour of Sunnking Electronics Recycling for a behind-the-scenes tour to answer the questions below and show what happens to your personal and corporate electronics when you recycle responsibly. 

In their own words: "You've got a device. Oh, who are we kidding, a recent survey revealed the average American has more than ten connected devices in their household and likely more in their office. But what should we all do with those electronics at the end of their life? And more importantly, what happens to them after they get passed along? And more interestingly, could you get paid for recycling?"

This tour also acts as your exclusive time to drop off all your residential electronics for FREE - no need to wait for our local e-Recycling Events. Come see how you can make money, save money, and protect the planet! (HINT: The team at Sunnking says that their shredder is pretty cool)

Sunnking has been recycling Rochester's electronics for 22 years. Based in Brockport, the company's new(ish) warehouse is where more than 25 million pounds of devices get broken down each year. It's also where you can personally watch as teams test, securely erase, and destroy mountains of unused tech.

NOTE: Protective eyewear, helmets, and vests will be provided. All guests must wear closed-toe shoes in the warehouse. After the tour, we will reconvene in the lobby, where any questions will be addressed, and each guest will be given a swag/welcome bag.

For those bringing electronics to recycle, Sunnking will have a bin next to the front walkway for them to drop off before the tour.
