Colors of Success: Open Spaces - Creating Affirming LGBTQ+ Environments at Work
Tuesday, May 24, 2022 (11:00 AM - 12:00 PM) (EDT)
Join us as we learn from Trillium Health’s Open Space training, designed to bring together the core components of traditional LGBTQ+ cultural humility education with skills tailored to professional environments. This workshop is created to help participating organizations, and their team, build a foundation of understanding. This workshop would be appropriate for employees who are new to concepts of intersecting identities, sexual orientation, and gender identity, while continuing to be engaging for those who have already been through LGBTQ+ education sessions.
- Participants will learn core components of LGBTQ+ identity – especially related to sexuality and gender identity
- Participants will learn baseline best practices for creating affirming environments for LGBTQ+ colleagues and clients
- Participants will learn about tools that can be utilized to authentically engage with LGBTQ+ colleagues and clients
- Participants will leave with additional LGBTQ+ resources
