Friday HR Briefing: When Crisis Strikes: Supporting Employees Before, During, and After
Friday, September 25, 2026 (8:00 AM - 9:30 AM) (EDT)
Description
** In Person **
Workplace crises can emerge unexpectedly, and thoughtful preparation helps organizations support employees effectively when difficult events occur. This practical discussion focuses on planning for the human impact of workplace crises before, during, and after an event.
Participants will explore how to recognize when a difficult situation may be developing, anticipate potential impacts on employees and teams, and identify supports that can be mobilized as needs evolve. Rather than focusing on crisis policies or emergency procedures, this session will help leaders and HR professionals think proactively about employee support, communication, and recovery so they are not building the plan in the middle of the crisis.
