Greater ROC Young Professionals: Volunteer Give Back at Foodlink

Join Greater Rochester Chamber as part of its Greater ROC Young Professionals (GRYP) initiative on Thursday, November 12th at Foodlink for an afternoon of giving back to our local community—just in time for the holiday season!

Volunteers will get a behind-the-scenes look at Foodlink’s operations while helping support its mission to fight hunger and strengthen our community. During your volunteer shift, you may assist with activities in the Distribution Center, including:

• Sorting donated food and non-food products
• Packaging frozen items
• Labeling and boxing donated products
• Other hands-on tasks to support Foodlink’s daily operations

Your 3-hour volunteer experience will also include a behind-the-scenes tour of Foodlink’s facility to highlight Foodlink’s mission and the scope of its community impact.

Registration Details

Please register by Wednesday, November 4th. Space is limited due to Foodlink’s volunteer group capacity.

To allow more companies to participate, we ask that each company register a maximum of 2 participants to start. If you would like to send additional volunteers, please reach out to us. We will place additional participants on a waitlist and accommodate them as space allows.

This volunteer opportunity is intended for individuals between the ages of 21-40.
