You’re invited to a Policy Matters event on Wednesday, April 14, featuring subject matter experts and legislative leaders for a timely discussion on how Governor Hochul and the New York State Legislature are working to address these concerns through meaningful changes to state policy.

In the FY27 New York State Budget, changes to New York’s 2019 Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act (CLCPA) were advanced with the goal of helping rein in rising electric bills impacting New Yorkers and businesses, while keeping the state on a path toward a cleaner, more sustainable energy grid.

Alongside continued investments in our power system, Greater Rochester Chamber and our partners are actively monitoring and advocating for an energy future that balances New York’s climate goals with the economic needs of employers, residents, and communities.
