SBC Cares 2023 Thanksgiving Appeal

Description
Each year, the Small Business Council, a Greater Rochester Chamber affiliate, provide Thanksgiving food boxes to families in need. This event takes place the Friday before Thanksgiving (November 17 and 18, 2023), as participating companies drop off their food boxes to a specified location. Dozens of volunteers then gather the next day to deliver the baskets to local, not-for-profit organizations who serve these families.
This Thanksgiving, the SBC seeks to meet the needs of more than 4,000 local families. SBC has donated the cash equivalent of over $1,250,000 in food supplies to families for over 20 years.
THERE ARE MULTIPLE WAYS TO HELP! HERE IS HOW...
1. BUILD BOXES: Rally your company to build food boxes containing the requested items. Please register you/your company above, and someone will be in touch regarding your box pickup/delivery. See below for the food box checklist and please make sure to provide gift cards separate from the food boxes.

Companies that commit to fewer than 30 boxes can drop them off on 11/17/2023 at Frontier Field. The SBC will have a tent and volunteers available to take delivery from 9:00 am – 4:00pm. | SBC can pick up the boxes on 11/17/2023 from any company that commits to filling 30 or more boxes. However, if your company prefers to drop them off to Frontier Field on 11/17/23 between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm, you are free to do that as well. |

2. CLICK HERE TO MAKE A DONATION: I/Our company can’t build boxes, but will donate funds for the SBC to use to build food boxes or support organizations in need (each box has a value of $50).

IMPORTANT DETAILS TO NOTE WHEN BUILDING YOUR THANKSGIVING BOXES:
SBC will drop off boxes to any company that commits to filling 30 or more boxes. Companies donating fewer than 30 boxes can pick them up at:
RW Dake, 100 Bluff Drive, East Rochester, NY 14445.
Each Donor is encouraged to call and make arrangements to pick up their boxes from RW Dake. Please call Kevin Hammond at 585-381-2500 x 170 or emailing khammond@rwdake.com to make your appointment to pick up the boxes.
