Join us on Wednesday, February 11 at the Golisano Institute for Business & Entrepreneurship for a WORK Together ROC event focused on turning barriers into solutions that expand your talent pool.
This collaborative, in-person session brings together Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce, RochesterWorks, the City of Rochester Workforce Development team, employers, and community partners to tackle workforce barriers—together.
There is a lot happening across the workforce ecosystem, yet even those working in it don’t always see the full picture. Employers see even less. At the same time, employers are being asked repeatedly for input without seeing how that input turns into action.
This session is designed to change that. Using shared workforce data and real employer experience, we’ll focus on the barriers most affecting hiring and retention today—such as transportation, child care and benefits stability —and connect employers directly to the programs and solutions already addressing them.
What You’ll Get
Who Should Attend
HR leaders, talent acquisition professionals, business owners, and operations leaders who want practical, coordinated approaches to hiring and retention.
Key Takeaway
Walk away with clarity, connections, and concrete options to engage—so you can address workforce barriers more effectively to retain the talent you already have and attract the talent you need.
