Gratitude Run (5k Nature Race, 1-Mile Walk, & 50-Meter Kids Dash)

Description

Join us this Thanksgiving — November 23, 2023 — for our inaugural Gratitude Run hosted at the Rochester Rotary Sunshine Camp. Run or walk through the beautiful Sunshine Camp nestled in 157 acres in Rush, NY. Spend your morning moving your body, connecting with nature, and benefiting an impactful organization.

EVENT DETAILS:

This event is timed with chips and each participant will receive a bib, as well as a long-sleeve t-shirt (not guaranteed if registered after November 10.)

Drinks at mile markers (water, electrolytes), food following event, and special surprise messages along the course.

5K Race: Paved road, light trails, and some grass

1 Mile Walk: Paved road

50 Meter Kids Dash: Paved road (10 years old and under)

All proceeds of the event will be donated to the Sunshine Camp.

About Rochester Rotary Sunshine Camp: Since 1922, Rochester Rotary Sunshine Camp has provided a summer camp where children with disabilities can simply have fun, without any barriers. Today, this 157-acre camp in Rush, N.Y. meets the needs of thousands of children with disabilities and their families. Every year, more than 2,500 kids get the chance to enjoy a camping experience that they cannot get anywhere else.
