Inspiring Forces II Youth Athletic Department Annual "Rochester's Hardest Mile" Event
Saturday, August 29, 2026 (11:00 AM - 3:00 PM) (EDT)
Description
This high energy community athletic event brings together youth, competitive athletes, fitness enthusiasts, local businesses, and families for a day of health, unity, and empowerment. Participants tackle a 1 mile functional fitness course consisting of four 400-meter laps with station challenges at each interval (lunges, burpees, jump squats, and bear crawls).
Beyond the race, attendees will enjoy live music, family-friendly activities, healthy refreshments, and resource tables hosted by local community partners and vendors. Competitors can sign up individually ($25) or as 4 person teams ($90). All participants receive an official competition t shirt, hydration access, and eligibility for community awards.
