Rochester Climate March

Description

Rochester Climate March - a collaboration with the Climate Solutions Accelerator of the Genesee-Finger Lakes Region, Sunrise Movement, Rochester Youth Climate Leaders, and other climate-concerned organizations and individuals. We hope members of our community will stand with us as we strive to build local engagement on this global issue: Think Globally, Act Locally. We are marching in solidarity with mobilizations across the world that day organized by Fridays for Future, calling for an end to the era of fossil fuels.

We are eager to bring together the Rochester community to take peaceful action in defense of the climate. We are looking for organizations to participate in the march in any/all of the following four ways: (a) promoting the event to your constituents, (b) marching with us, (c) tabling at the end of our march to recruit marchers to support your work, and/or (d) selecting a representative to speak for 1-2 minutes at the march.
