SWW Sickle Cell Awareness Event & Red Cross Blood Drive

Give Blood. Give Love. Give Back. Join us for a powerful community event dedicated to Sickle Cell Disease awareness, featuring insights from medical experts, local organizations, and families affected by SCD. Whether you're looking for the perfect Valentine's gift at our handmade art and bake sale or saving a life at the on-site Red Cross Blood Drive, there is a place for everyone to make a difference. After you donate, stay for a delicious Soul Food dinner by Big Boys Eatery--plates are $12, or completely free as a thank-you for your blood donation! Grab an event t-shirt for $15 and know that every dollar raised directly benefits the American Red Cross of Greater Rochester.

The Red Cross will be running an on-site blood drive in the Library from 1:00 to 7:00 PM. You can make an appointment ahead of time or just walk in. In addition to a dinner voucher or a free event t-shirt, all donors will receive a $20 e-gift card. All proceeds will benefit the American Red Cross of Greater Rochester.
