Help us celebrate 50 years of serving veterans at Pound the Ground 2023! Veterans Outreach Center will be returning to Mendon Ponds Park for our annual Pound the Ground 5k Run/Walk! This year’s race will be held both in-person and virtually. Lace up those sneakers and run, walk, or stroll to support critically-needed services for local veterans! Want to run as a team? Participants have the option to set up their own teams – gather your friends, family, or co-workers and support a great cause! The coveted Golden Boot is up for grabs again this year! Active duty military, active reservists, and veterans can sign up to run with members from their branch. The quickest team gets their branch name on the boot! Help us serve those who serve U.S. by taking part in Pound the Ground 2023.

How the In-Person Event Works:

• Participants who register by August 14th will receive a free cotton t-shirt

• Official event timing provided by YellowJacket Racing

• Results provided online after the event

• Swag Bag for registrants

• Post-race snacks & water

How the Virtual Event Works:

• Participants who register by August 14th will receive a free cotton t-shirt

• Virtual results can be submitted between 7:00am Wednesday, August 16th, and 11:59pm Wednesday, August 30th

• After completing your run/walk, submit your time here

• After you submit your time, we will make arrangements for you to pick up your swag bag containing fun goodies and an exclusive Pound the Ground dog tag for participating in Pound the Ground
