GVC SHRM is the local chapter for the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) the world’s largest HR professional society, representing 285,000 members in more than 165 countries. . We are a not-for-profit organization servicing the Greater Rochester NY Human Resources profession. We support SHRM’s mission to develop and serve the HR professional, and advance and lead the HR profession. We provide education, thought leadership, certification, community and advocacy to enhance the practice of human resource management and the effectiveness of HR professionals in the organizations and communities in which we serve.
