Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce invites you to join a discussion with New York State Senator Jeremy Cooney to learn more about how we're working to address rising health insurance costs for small businesses. Senator Cooney's proposed legislation (S8457) will reduce costs, expand choices, and strengthen the health insurance marketplace for mid-sized employers throughout our region and across New York State by restoring New York's definition of "small group" for health insurance purposes to 50 or fewer employees.

Greater Rochester Chamber's advocacy team works 24/7/365 to keep up-to-date on it all. One of the ways in which we convey our findings to members is through the Policy Matters series.
