Join us for an exclusive derby-themed Women’s Council social event at Batavia Downs Gaming & Hotel on Tuesday, August 5, 2026 from 4:30 PM – 6:30 PM

Get ready for unique and fun event as part of our Women’s Council initiative! We’re bringing the spirit of Derby Day to Batavia Downs, fabulous hats and all, with a social evening with the ladies. This is a great opportunity for professional women to connect, socialize, and enjoy a memorable evening supporting one of our member organizations.

Program Timeframe:

• 4:30 PM: Check-in, networking, and light mingling. An optional Stables Tour from 4:45-5 PM (Wear comfy shoes!)
• 5:00 PM: Gaming, socializing, and a group photo at the Winner's Circle
• 6:00 PM: Live racing begins - stay as long as you'd like to enjoy the races! (Photo after first race.)
  

Event Highlights:

• Light Appetizers & Drinks: Enjoy a selection of delicious appetizers and one complimentary drink (alcoholic or non-alcoholic), followed by a cash bar
• Best Hat Contest: We’re mimicking the Derby Day tradition, so wear your most fabulous Derby-inspired hat! A special prize (and bragging rights!) will be awarded to the Best Hat Winner.
  
• Winner's Circle Photo: Capture a fun group photo
• Behind-the-Scenes Access: Optional 15-min stables tour at 4:45 for an up-close Derby experience
• $25 Free Play: Each attendee receives $25 in free play to enjoy during the evening
